"I truly love what I do and I’m reminded why every day. There is no more rewarding feeling than knowing you’ve helped someone achieve a major goal like buying or selling a home. Having bought and sold my own properties I know it’s a major decision so when someone trusts me with the opportunity to represent them in a transaction I don’t take it lightly.”
Keith began his career as a REALTOR® in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008 during one of the most challenging economies this country had ever seen. Gaining valuable experience in Short Sales, REO’s & Foreclosures; Keith’s hard work was rewarded as he received the RE/MAX Executive Club Award in his first full year in the business.
“Starting in the industry in 2008 was probably the best thing that could have happened to me. A lot of the agents in my office complained that they were doing twice the work for half the pay. Fortunately, I didn’t know any different so working hard was the only option. Today I maintain that same mentality and do everything I can to help my clients achieve their goals.”
Having worked in both “good markets” and “bad markets”, Keith has learned that the people remain the constant. By putting his clients first he’s found success regardless of the market conditions. “Home values may go up or down but how you treat people should never change. I am in a service business so I take the time to understand what a client is looking for during their buying or selling experience. No two clients are the same so understanding their goals, wants, and needs allows me to tailor the service I deliver to meet each client’s expectations."
Keith Gilbert was born and raised in Fair Oaks, California and now lives in the Empire Ranch community of Folsom with his wife and three kids. He is a REALTOR® with LYON Real Estate and 2015 & 2016 Masters Club Member, Lyon Executive Associate, and Office Mentor.
When taking a break from working Keith enjoys spending time with his wife, two boys, and baby girl; coaching their sports teams, trying to improve his golf game, playing soccer or softball, rooting for the Kings and Giants, or enjoying the multitude of activities the Sacramento and greater Northern California area has to offer.
